About the Fleet
The Mount Vernon Yacht Club’s club racing is designed for casual sailboat racing and is perfect for sailors of all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced sailor, this is a great opportunity to learn about racing and improve your skills. Safety, fun, and camaraderie are our top priorities as we enjoy the thrill of competition and the challenge of improving our sailing abilities. The fleet hosts a small dinghy fleet of lasers, and larger keelboats ranging in size from 19’ to 40+ feet.

Fall 2026 Schedule
September 5: Summer Race (Dock Time: 8:15am)
September 25: TGIF (Gross, Berger, Rosen) (7pm)
October 24: Founders' Cup Interclub Regatta and After Party at MVYC (10am)
