Know a kid who wants to learn the basics of sailing? Sign them up for Keelboats 4 Kids! We'll start with an introductory lesson in the Clubhouse on the parts of the boat, points of sail, and the essentials of sailing safely. After that, we'll split into groups and head out for a sail with members of the Sail Fleet!
Adult chaperones will be needed for the sailing portion of the event.* If the number of kids signed up exceeds the space available on boats, we'll arrange for another outing at a later date. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled.
*Children with their own life jackets should bring them; we'll provide them for those who don't.
