2026 Annual boat parade of lights features festive, decorated boats
Decorate your boat and join the festive parade of lights from MVYC marina past Mt. Vernon and back. If all goes according to plan, participants will be able to enjoy Mount Vernon fireworks around 9:15. If you can't take your boat or don't have one, join the party on the point to watch the parade, and participate in selecting the best decorated boat! As always, we will have prizes for the best decorated boat, runner up and honorable mention, at $50, 30 and 20 dollars.
Low tide is 4:35 pm with high tide at 11:02, should be good for boats of all sizes, the weather is expected (as of this writing) to be Sunny with very low chance of rain but HOT, near 100 degrees during the day. We will meet at buoy 67, at 8:00pm, hailing channel is 68. If you have any questions please contact Powerfleet.
