Please join us for the MVYC Commissioning Day and Blessing of the Fleets. Passed down through generations of sailors and navies around the world the centuries-old ceremony is intended to safeguard crews and ships from the danger of the sea through a traditional blessing given by a clergyman at the waters edge. Our ceremony will be brief and features the flag raising by the local Boy Scout Troop. There will be live entertainment .
Please join us for the ceremony and the picnic with food and drink provided by the Club immediately after the proceedings.
