Have you ever wanted to have a picture taken of your boat in front of the Cherry Blossoms in full Bloom?
Jim Khoury and the Bridge of Prince William Yacht Club have formally invited us to join them in their annual Cherry Blossom Cruise.
The 2024 Cherry Blossom Cruise will be Championed by CBYCA Delegate and Past Commodore Mike Connolly "Summer Daze" and photographer Captain Lou Ward.
As of 4 Mar 2024, the National Park Service is estimating peak bloom 23, so we are hosting the event 23 Mar 2024, with a Backup Date 24 Mar 2024. Boats should plan to arrive at the DC Tidal Basin between 1200-1400.
They will have a boat anchored by the tidal basin and hopefully the Cherry Blossoms will be at/near peak as National Park Service predicts.
On the boat will be a photographer and drone operator who takes several pictures for you to select from and touches them up/edits so they look really good. The cost per picture is reasonable (maybe $20).
