MVYC: ANNUAL ELECTION MEMBERSHIP MEETING (Agenda: Membership Agenda_11_06_2014)
The MVYC annual election will take place on Thursday, 06 November at 8PM at the Club House. A quorum is required by the MVYC bylaws to vote in our new Board. Please plan to attend the Thursday meeting so we can achieve a quorum and vote in the new Board!
BYLAWS of the MOUNT VERNON YACHT CLUB

Section 4. Annual Election Meeting
(i) The annual election meeting shall be held on the
first Thursday in November at a time and place designated
by the Board of Trustees. Notices of the annual
election meeting shall be mailed to the membership,
stating date, time and place, not later than fifteen
days prior to the date of the meeting.
(ii) Fifteen percent of Active Members in good standing,
present and eligible to vote as defined in Article
III, Section 4, Paragraph (ii) shall constitute a quorum.
Draft Membership Meeting minutes from October have been posted to the secure “Member’s Login” section of our website (www.mvyc.net).
1. Go to the MVYC website (www.mvyc.net)
2. At the top of the website, click Members Login, enter your primary email account and password. Once logged in, click the Minutes & Files tab at the top of the page. Click Membership Meeting Minutes and select the OCT 2014 draft minutes.
Don’t have a password yet? When you click on the Members Login, you’ll notice at the bottom of the page a “can’t access account” link. Click on this link and enter your email address. A password will be sent to the email you entered and you can then start from step one. IMPORTANT NOTE: only the HEAD OF HOUSE HOLD email can be used to gain access to the secure site.
