The first annual Mount Vernon Yacht Club Sail Fleet Kick Off is an eagerly anticipated event that promises to be an unforgettable experience for sailing enthusiasts at MVYC. The festivities will be led by none other than MVYC Sail Fleet Captain Adam Rosen, whose passion for sailing is sure to inspire all of us. This event marks the beginning of a new season of MVYC sailing events, and attendees will have the unique opportunity to provide feedback on Adam’s exciting plans for building a junior sail fleet, which will help to promote sailing among young people at MVYC.  Furthermore, attendees can also discuss with Adam ways to create harmony between blow boaters and motor-boaters and share stories and frosty beverages. With Adam’s extensive sailing experience and outstanding leadership, there is no doubt that the upcoming sailing season will be one of the most memorable for all who participate.  Adam, you’re still a mast monkey!

No boats required for this event, though all are encouraged to wear something nautical or boating inspired. Come to the club at 6:30pm for drinks and casual discussion of the season/year ahead, with potluck food served at 7:30pm.
